Exit Athens Airport onto the Akti Odos toll road towards Korinth along a stunning route. Head down the A7 heading to Tripoli and Kalamata. Once in Kalamata follow the directions on the map from Kalamata. The tolls cost around €15 (Summer 2012.) The journey takes around 2.5 hours and there are service stations along the route.
