If you are looking for a nightout Kalamata is your best bet. Clubs are situated all over the city centre with the majority being located at the top of Aristomenos. Bars and restaurants line the seafront and are open til late during the summer months. In Verga there is a castle-style bar and restaurant with splendid views (seen above,) you pay for the view but it is well worth visiting for a special occasion.
Closer to Olive Tree House, Sandova beach offers Akti, Cabo and Hobo all of which open late. They offer DJ sets, live music and beach parties throughout the summer. At Akrogiali, Dolphin bar and Memphis also have live music nights which are advertised approximately a week before on posters in the area.
